PIGs are generally used to clean the pipelines for smoother run wherein IPIG (instrumented pipeline inspection gauge) checks the pipeline geometry, any possible cracks, leak detection, Bend detection, Corrosion, Dent, Crack etc on inner wall surface of pipeline. IPIGs are generally runs through pipelines once the normal PIGs clean the pipelines. This helps to get the most accurate data collected by IPIGS. These pipelines sometimes pass through thickly populated areas carrying highly inflammable and costly products. Usha Microtech has capabilities to develop PIG and IPIGS for data analysis purposes which help in regular monitoring of the condition of these pipelines to ensure public health and safety.
